"For many, Christmas is the time to think of Jesus Christ as a baby in a manger. While the birth of Christ is a special and miraculous event, it isn't the primary focus. The central truth of the Christmas story is this: the Child of Christmas is God" - GTY.org God incarnate (in flesh), came because He loves us and wants to bring us back to Him.  He came to be born, live a perfect life and die to pay the penalty for our sin.  Through His death He offers forgiveness and by His resurrection we have life everlasting.  John 3:16 MERRY CHRISTMAS  DAVID - LAURA - GRACE - BABY MOSES Psalm 145:4 says "One generation will declare your works to the next".  Donna Schaap is retiring this coming year and the Peterson family this past fall.  We praise the Lord and give thanks for their faithful service.  But in order to declare Gods works to the next generation, there is a great need, in the children's ministry, for those who have the gift of teaching.   We are asking the Lord to raise up teachers for the 3-4 yrs class room (a first hour and second hour teacher).  Please ask the Lord If he is calling you to serve in the children's ministry.   Contact David Faris, the next generation needs to hear of Gods marvelous acts. Sunday night programs will be taking a break from December 14 thru December 28.  Programs will start back on January 4.  Please mark your calendar and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.
