View this email in your browser We want to partner with you in creating a gospel-centered foundation.  So we send out this E-newsletter on a weekly basis to keep you in the "Know" with what is happening in the Children's Ministry of  Immanuel. Feel free to respond back with questions or suggestions.  If you would like to be removed from this list let us know that as well. Why do we celebrate Christmas? Most children do not know the true answer to that question or why God sent Jesus to live on earth.  'Why Christmas?' is a helpful devotional with Scripture readings, memory verses, Christmas carols and questions to direct your child's heart towards God. The readings, which begin on the first day of December, are Biblical, short, and effective. Colorful illustrations illuminate the events of the incarnation. This book will provide parents with the assistance they desire for leading their child to the Christ of Christmas. STILL IN NEED OF YOUR HELP 2 more individuals to help during the event ALSO... SET-UP December 9, Tuesday from 8:30am - 11:00am Construct the tents, stable, inn, and move all the decorations into the court. DECORATING  December 10, Wednesday from 5:30pm - 7:30pm December 11, Thursday from 4:30pm – 6:30pm Organizing and placing decorative items around all tents Don't forget to come to the event, and invite a friend December 13 from 1:00pm-4:00pm   December 14—Older Children (5yrs-5th grade) Contact Kelli Wyse—616-510-5220   December  21—Younger Children (3yrs-4yrs) Contact Donna Schaap—616-836-5164 We encourage your children to be available for both services (for a full stage each service).  They will sing at 9:55 and 11:25.  Children will be brought from their class to sing and will return to their class for the remainder of the hour.  Sunday night programs will be taking a break from December 14 thru December 28.  Programs will start back on January 4.  Please mark your calendar and we look forward to seeing you in the new year.
