This coming Sunday evening, November 27th at 6:00, the people of Immanuel will be joining together for a night of preparation. Once we pass Thanksgiving it seems we "officially" enter into the Christmas season. In the retail world this is marked by an annual event known as "Black Friday". However, as Christians we know there is so much more to the season than simply finding the best deals on items we may not really need.
We invite you to PREPARE, a night of worship helping us to prepare our heart and spirit for what is ahead this season. We all know the challenge of keeping our mind aligned with the message of Christmas and the celebration of God physically stepping into the world he created. We all tend to get pulled off course from the revelation of God's love by the rush of activity and the frustration of attempting to get everything done.
Take a pause right at the start and join us for PREPARE. This year we have invited the people of Macedonia Baptist Church to join us as well so come ready to meet some new friends. Bring the entire family along with you and enjoy this time of special and corporate worship. Childcare will be provided for children 3 years old and younger.

Bethlehem Village has been a growing outreach in our church over the past several years and we are looking forward to how God is going to use it again this year. On Saturday, December 10, we will be transforming a section of our church into a reenactment of a Bethlehem bazaar. To make this day as effective as possible we need your help in preparations, working in the various shops on that Saturday, and inviting your friends. Plan to sign up soon! There will always be a stack of invite cards available so pick up a handful this Sunday when you are at Immanuel.
