Immanuel Church of Holland: ZURBURG REPORT

ZURBURG REPORT -- This Sunday morning, June 19, Kurt & Rochelle zurBurg , our Global Partners in Ukraine, will be at Immanuel. After giving a brief report in the morning services they will be hosting a more detailed presentation of the work they are doing in Odessa. Plan to join them in room #L014 during either class hour to listen in on what has been taking place as well as their plans for the future.

REACH A TEEN -- Barnabas Ministries in Zeeland reaches out to homeless teens in the Holland/Zeeland community (and there are more than you might think). One of the ways their staff reaches out to these teens is by sharing a conversation over a coke or a simple meal. You can be an active participant in this ministry by providing $5 or $10 gift cards to any fast food restaurant that these staff members can use. Pick up a card this weekend and drop it in the Driven by Compassion collection near the café at Immanuel.

A CHANGE IS COMING – For one month only (and one additional week) the service times at Immanuel are going to change. During the month of August (and the first Sunday of September) we are going to move our Sunday morning service schedule to one combined service at 10:00am. During these weeks the elementary, teen, and adult classes will be put on hold allowing all of us to meet together. We will continue to provide sessions for nursery and preschool children.
