If it is true that a vast majority of Christians come to know Christ between the ages of 4 - 14, then it is imperative that the church place greater emphasis on this age group.
That is the goal of our missions focus this year with our theme of "LEGACY: leaving a lasting impression for Christ in the next generation." This Sunday, November 8, is one you will not want to miss.
In the morning services our main speaker will be Dan Hoven, the state director for Child Evangelism Fellowship.
Even if you do not do so normally, you will also want to attend one of the class hours. You can learn from Terre Ritche, recently retired director of Keys for Kids (previously Children's Bible Hour) in the View. You can hear from David Ditzler, director of Beechpoint Camp, and their focus on under-resourced teens in room #L038. You can also catch up with Jason & Lisa Hovingh, (one of our own Global Partners) in the Student Ministries Center. All of these options will be repeated at 9:00 and 10:30.
Then come back at 6:00 on Sunday evening for a unique "round table" presentation by Child Evangelism Fellowship, Keys for Kids, Barnabas Ministries, and Jason & Lisa Hovingh.
This will be a day filled with insights on reaching out to kids and teens. Come on along and join us!
