"Early in life, children are wholly dependent creatures, relying on their parents for almost everything. A parent's job is to help kids become self-reliant and eventually become independent as they grow. But with independence comes increased responsibility. Mom-to-Mom - Starting this fall - a Biblically based parenting program designed around the Titus 2:4 concept of older women teaching and encouraging younger women in their relationships with their husbands and children.  We are looking for 2-3 mentor moms to come alongside and encourage young moms.  We are also in need of someone who is interested in helping with child care.  Please contact Jessica McRae at 616.399.0758 or Ruth Koppenaal at 616.566.1372 for more information.  Registration will begin in July.  We will begin in September with meetings two Wednesdays a month for the school year  The cost for the year is $30, which includes materials and childcare.
