PINEWOOD DERBY and PATIENCE PARENT NIGHT

View this email in your browser What: Music Bible lesson Games Ice Cream When:  January 11 6:00pm—7:30pm Why:  You and your child will learn together what patience is all about in a purposeful and FUN way! (If a parent can not make it bring a grandparent or a guardian) Fun for the whole family.  Races for kids of all ages, prizes for Speed and Design, and snacks are available at the snack shack. Here is how you can prepare for race day Design a car Check out the Profile sheet (handed to your child or click on this link).  On the left is a selection of popular designs to choose or In the middle there are three blank profiles to design your own. Sheets must be returned by the end of January, so Mr. PineWood Derby (aka Steve King) can cut out the shapes and hand them back for finishing touches. Finishing touches Children will not be sanding their cars at church this year.  Please work with your child to sand paint and decorate. The race is set to start on March 14, details will follow.
