This is the Week!

Baptism – This Sunday, July 24, we will be celebrating baptism with several people. Each morning service will be condensed with baptism taking place in the middle portion. Our first service will start at 9:00 and finish by 10:00. Baptism will run from 10:10 to 10:30. Our second service will run from 10:40 to 11:40. Plan to join us for this great time. Single Service Month – August is coming soon. For those 4 Sundays (and the first one of September) our Sunday morning format will change at Immanuel. Classes for adults, teens, and elementary children will take a pause while we give those teachers a respite. We will also be joining together for one morning service at 10:00 am each week. Be sure to add this change to your calendar. Be A Blessing – For 10 weeks this summer we are endeavoring to see how many way God can use our church, and all the individuals in it, to come alongside people with simple acts of kindness and compassion. Be sure and listen carefully for the promptings of God in your own life as you go throughout the week. When you come to Immanuel on Sunday, jot a note of how God has used you and tape it to the wall as part of an encouragement to the rest of us. The Immanuel Annual Car Show is scheduled for Saturday, September 10. This will once again benefit the Holland Rescue Mission. Our silent auction is a significant source of financial support for the mission. If you have any unwanted items or other auctionable items to donate bring them to church and place them on the collection tables in the auditorium space. Summer Breakaway

WOMEN'S SUMMER BREAKAWAY -- Ladies, take a day for spiritual refreshment. On Wednesday, July 20, Maranatha in Muskegon is hosting a day with Bible Teacher Chrissy Toledo. Chrissy is the daughter of Jim Cymbala, pastor of the Brooklyn Tabernacle and wife of Al Toledo, pastor of the Chicago Tabernacle. The program runs from 9:30am to 4:00pm for a cost of $30 which includes lunch. Call 231-798-2161 to purchase tickets. Baptism at Immanuel is scheduled for Sunday, July 24. The State of Our Nation
